Going camping can be fun, but it can also be very dangerous in terms of fires as most of the time with camping you will want to build a camp fire. These camp fires can make the scene more cozy and warm with some finding it romantic. Most of the fires that start by a camp fire are just accidents caused by people doing something stupid like heavy drinking and not putting this fire completely out before going to sleep or leaving something flammable too close to this fire. Sometimes they might even build their camp fire too close to trees or make this fire too big.
If you want to make camp on the beach, this is a better place as on the beach you aren't close to any brush that could catch on fire, and you can build a pit in the sand to set your fire in so that it can't go anywhere. If you want to keep this camp area clean, you can throw all of your trash in this pit so as not to leave a big mess if you should have a party with a lot of your friends. Make sure that all of your friends, if they should start drinking, be extra c
areful around this fire as not to catch themselves on fire because this can happen if they get too close to the flames with their alcohol or their clothes like pant legs.
If you go and put up a tent, make sure that it isn't too close to the fire pit especially if it's windy, or if the wind should come up, move your tent so that it's far enough way so that sparks from this fire don't have a chance to land on your tent. Never put your tent too close to the waters end because if it should start to rain and the wind should come up with it, you might find water inside your tent. This event will cause you to have more damage than you could even think about as you will have your tent ruined and so will everything inside this tent, even your money or losing your billfold all together.
If you do go camping, take along these items just in case: a pail for water, an axe to cut up your brush, a first aid kit equipped with all of the things you might need on this trip, and a change of clothes with a sweater for the cool night air.
